Vincent Vaneker took his first music lessons at the local music school in Enschede. A small city located in the east of the Netherlands close to the German border. His teacher then was Louis Ignatius Gall.  Here’s a documentary film about him…… 

After high school and two years of service in the Dutch Army, Vincent made his way to Amsterdam to study at the Sweelinck Conservatory with Lex Eisenhardt. http://lexeisenhardt.nl/
